Presentation

H/O road traffic accident. Impact to chest by steering wheel. Referred for radiograph chest PA view.

Patient Data

Age: 35 - 40 yrs
Gender: Male

Case Discussion

Obviously chest PA view was going to be normal.

A smart radiographer took lateral radiograph for sternum.

Posterior subluxation of manubrium over body of sternum.

Linear lucency is noted on anterior aspect of manubrium is possible a fracture line.
