Meningioma extending into internal acoustic canal

Left cerebellopontine angle mass, isointense T1 and slightly high FLAIR signal. Demonstrates homogeneous enhancement. The mass has an internal acoustic canal component.
Case Discussion
Microscopic Description:
Sections show the specimen to consist of small pieces of meningioma, portions of dura, and fibrous type tissue containing numerous blood vessels. Histologic features associated with aggressive biologic behavior are not seen.
Final diagnosis: Cerebellopontine angle, left: Meningioma.
