Selected images from an MRI demonstrate typical features of a meningioma. It appears as a vividly enhancing extra-axial mass with a dural tail which is almost isointense to grey matter on both T1 and T2 weighted images. It also demonstrates diffusion restriction.
Case Discussion
This is a typical appearance for a small parafalcine meningioma and no other differential should be entertained. It also elegantly demonstrates a dural tail.
