Mesenteric infarction

Thrombosis of the superior mesenteric artery. There is also thrombus in the descending thoracic aorta. Non-opacification of the distal superior mesenteric vein is indeterminate, although likely represents venous mixing.
There is subtle diffuse hypoenhancement of the small bowel (best appreciated when compared to transverse colon), although no wall thickening, pneumatosis, or mesenteric edema.
