Presentation

Osteopaenic patient presents with right hip pain status post trauma.

Patient Data

Age: Adult

No evidence of lucent fracture lines.

Metallic surgical clips are projected over the right side of the pelvis.

No evidence of lucent fracture lines.

Femoral intertrochanteric incomplete fracture line of low signal. No bone displacement. 

Case Discussion

Radiographs and CT were negative for trauma. MRI revealed an intertrochanteric hip fracture.
