Osteochondroma of the left humerous with progessive enlargement

Case Discussion:

A  male child aged 9 years old ,known to have osteochnodrma complaining of recent regional pain and  swelling .Plain xray was done revealing  cassic osteochondroma.MRI with contrast was performed to confirm and to exclude possibility of early malignant transformation .MRI showed bright signal intensity of the bone marrow of the exostosis but cartilegenous cap thickness is prerved , no cortical destruction nor soft tissue component ,After contrast GD.DTPA, no signficant enhancement could be appreciated suggestive to bone marrow  edema /contusion of recent  but non signficant trauma as confirmed by the patient retrospectively.
