Ovarian serous cystadenofibroma

Presentation:

32yo woman with pelvic discomfort.

Modality: Ultrasound

There is a multilocular thin walled septated ovarian cystic mass

Modality: MRI

Sagittal T2WI MR through the pelvis demonstrates a multilocular cystic mass with areas of low signal intensitiy in the posterior solid component in the ovary. Post contrasted images demonstrate enhancement of the solid components of the cystic mass.

Case Discussion:

Given its size, solid components and enhancment characteristics surgical excision was recommended.
