Ovarian serous cystadenofibroma

Presentation:

Pelvic discomfort.

Patient Data:

Age: 32Y
Gender: Female
Modality: Ultrasound

There is a multilocular thin walled septated ovarian cystic mass.

Modality: MRI

Sagittal T2WI MR through the pelvis demonstrates a multilocular cystic mass with areas of low signal intensity in the posterior solid component in the ovary. Post contrast images demonstrate enhancement of the solid components of the cystic mass.

Case Discussion:

Given its size, solid components, and enhancment characteristics, surgical excision was recommended.
