Ovarian serous cystadenoma

Presentation:

Asymptomatic patient. On routine ultrasound examination was revealed a large pelvic-abdominal cystic formation.

Patient Data:

Age: 64
Gender: Female
Race: Caucasian
Modality: CT

The CT study CT shows a large, fluid-filled and septated mass arising from the pelvis, from the right adnexal region. Also identified a calcified uterine fibroid and left ureterohydronephrosis.

Case Discussion:

An ovarian serous cystadenoma (OSC) is a type of benign ovarian epithelial tumour.
