Blunt abdominal trauma.

Age: 5 years
Gender: Male

Unremarkable radiograph.

Focal disruption of the pancreatic parenchyma is noted at the head-neck junction with a hypodense fluid collection with no enhancement or active extravasation.

Follow up US after one week

ultrasound

Hypoechoic fluid collection is noted at the site of pancreatic laceration at the head-neck junction

Considering the history of trauma, features are consistent with pancreatic laceration.
