Presentation

Non-traumatic origin of pain - swelling along medial thigh & leg -- 1 wk. USG to look for superficial venous thrombosis.

Patient Data

Age: about 10 - 12 yrs
ultrasound

Echogenic subcutaneous fat is noted on medial aspect of thigh, knee, leg. 
It starts near groin region and extend upto distal leg.
Approximate width  - 5 - 7 cm
Approximate thickness - 1.5 to 3 cm

No thormbus of superficial vein is noted locally.
No collection is noted.

No deep venous thrombosis is noted.

Left inguinal reactive node is noted.
