A comminuted fracture through the lower pole of the patellar isdemonstrated. On the lateral projection a small fragment of bone isprojected posterior to the knee joint, which is of uncertain significance,but could represent an intra articular fragment from the patellar fracture.The tibia and femur appear intact.
