Pilonidal sinus (intergluteal)

A non-branching single tract is noted from skin opening. It extends in mid line in caudal direction for about 5 cm length. Linear echogenic foci are noted in tract - Hair follicles.
No abscess surrounding tract is noted.
A non-thrombosed subcutaneous vein is seen abutting deeper surface of tract.
Case Discussion
Findings favor pilonidal sinus.
