Presentation

Abdominal pain and abdominal distention. Was suspected of an intestinal obstruction. The patient was scanned 2 hours after arriving to ER.

Aeroportia with gas in hepatic segments, portal vein and SMV.

Case Discussion

This findings were consistent with mesenteric ischemia. The man was taken to the operating theater,  however he died after 6 hours.
