Focal soft tissue edema is noted at the lateral part of prefemoral fat pad, suggestive of prefemoral fat pad impingement.
Abnormal T2 hyperintense signal noted at the posterior horn medial meniscus not reaching the articular surfaces reflecting grade II degeneration.
Minimal knee joint effusion.
A bone island at the lateral tibial plateau and fabella are noted.
Case Discussion
Features suggestive of prefemoral fat pad impingement syndrome. It is one of the causes pf anterior knee pain.
