Zoomed images show avulsion fracture of the 5th metatarsal styloid.
Case Discussion
Plain radiographs show a transverse fracture at the proximal 5th metatarsal bone just below its styloid, consistent with an avulsion fracture. It is also known as pseudo-Jones fracture.
