Presentation

Long standing progressive shortness of breath.

Patient Data

Age: 65
Gender: Female

Chest x-ray demonstrates extensive interstitial thickening.

Right opacity pleuroapical and some patchy areas of ground-glass density. Elements of septal fibrosis apicobasal gradient. Basal cylindrical bronchiectasis. No observed nodules or pleural effusion.

Esophageal dilation and  liquid containing with concentric wall thickening of the distal esophagus.

Case Discussion

Pulmonary fibrosis right apical pleural thickening and incidental esophageal achalasia.
