Presentation

Dry cough, low-grade fever and loss of weight for 2 months.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

 A well-defined thick-walled cavitary lesion is noted in the right para-hilar area in the midzone of right lung.

Case Discussion

Case of pulmonary tuberculosis. A cavitatory lesion indicates an active lesion. The lesion should not be confused with an end-on bronchus as a bronchus would appear smaller in size.
