right and left temporomandibular joint menisci are seen displaced anteriorly in the closed mouth series, more evident on the left side
the right TMJ displaced meniscus became recaptured against the anterior translation of the right mandibular condyle during the open mouth series
failure of recapture of the left TMJ displaced meniscus seen buckled anteriorly against the anterior translation of the left mandibular condyle during the open mouth series
limited anterior translation movement of both mandibular condyle in the open mouth view more on the left side
Case Discussion
This case shows reducible right and irreducible left anterior dislocation of the temporomandibular joint articular discs.
