Presentation
Previous history of recent robot-aided prostatectomy.
Patient Data
Retrograde Cystogram
Contrast filling the bilateral relatively symmetric structures at the base of the bladder. These are consistent with reflux into the seminal vesicles, confirmed on the CT performed immediately following the cystogram. No contrast extravasation was seen to suggest a leak. No evidence of ureteric reflux bilaterally. The bladder was subsequently emptied with the extravesical contrast remaining unchanged.
Urografin within the seminal vesicles.
Case Discussion
This case illustrates the reflux of contrast into the seminal vesicles in a patient previously submitted to robotic-aided resection of the prostate.
