Presentation

Patient was admitted to the ER with malignant hypertension.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

Bilateral renal artery stenosis.

Balloon-expanding stents opening up both arteries (6 mm balloon-expandable stent).

Renal artery stenosis on both sides. Left kidney is necrotic due to thrombo-embolism. Notice also the subtotal stenosis of the celiac artery.
