Presentation

Large painless mass of proximal right humerus.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

Typical rings and arc calcification which is characteristic of chondroid lesions.

Case Discussion

Rings and arcs calcification is characteristic of chondroid lesions, such as chondrosarcomas (as in this case). It is due to enchondral mineralization of multiple hyaline cartilage nodules.
