Scaphoid fracture

Presentation:

28 year old male with history of trauma.

Modality: X-ray
Modality: CT

Case Discussion:

Radiographes of the right hand demonstrates a small lytic lesion of the scaphoid complicated by pathological fracture. The lesion could represent but not limited to, UBC, ABC or fibrous dysplasia.

CT scan performed and reveals the same findings.

Bone graft from distal right radius metaphysis was utilized in the internal fixation of the scaphoid fracture using Herbert screw.
