Case Discussion:

56 M. Post traumatic right shouder pain - 3 mths.

XRAY - Mild proximal migration of head of humerus in standing position.

US - Right - Massive tear of supraspinatous. Full thickness tear of infraspinatous. Atropy and fatty infiltration of both supra - infraspinatous muscles. Supra-spinatous occupies only 20% of fossa.

Left - Asymptomatic shoulder - US shows anterior, full thickness, retracted ( 16 mm ) supraspinatous tendon tear.
