Sternal fracture

At the site of pain pointed by patient, there is breach in anterior cortex sternal body. There is hypo echoic area abutting fracture - hematoma.
Case Discussion
This is a case of anterior chest wall trauma resulting in local pain. Ultrasound is very effective to look for sternal fracture as in this case. However, posterior cortex is not seen.
