Subdural hematoma - with drainage

Patient Data

Age: 60
Gender: Male

CT shows a right subdural hemorrhage, of mixed attenutation, with marked mass effect. Surgical treatment was decided.

One day after

Postoperative CT showing drainage without complications. Pneumocephalus and decreased hemorrhagic content. Left frontal bore-hole.

This control show a marked diminution of mass effect and hemorrhagic content with partial resorption of the pneumocephalus.
