Tectal plate low grade glioma with hydrocepalus

FLAIR images demonstrate high signal abnormality in peri-aqueductal gray matter. Hydrocephalus seen on T2 sagittal images. No enhancement with contrast.
Case Discussion
Typical appearances of a tectal plate glioma. They are usually not biopsied but rather followed up serially. Often hydrocephalus is the more pressing complication, and a shunt or third ventriculostomy can be performed.
