Tectal plate metastasis

Presentation:

Headache and nausea, worse in the mornings and on stooping.

Patient Data:

Age: Elderly
Gender: Female
Modality: MRI

A cystic mass with peripheral enhancement expands the quadrigeminal plate and is causing obstructive hydrocephalus.

Case Discussion:

This elderly woman with known metastatic breast cancer developed headaches and symptoms of raised ICP.
