Previous thyroid malignancy treated with radioactive iodine. Follow up study.

Innumerable lung nodules of varying sized throughout the lung in the background of previous thyroid cancer makes metastases a likely cause.

Case Discussion

This patient had had a thyroid malignancy treated with surgical excision and radioactive iodine. This scan was obtained as followup. Note the innumerable lung metastases.
