Trimalleolar ankle fracture with internal fixation

Previous motor vehicle accident.

Patient Data:

Age: 25
Gender: Male

the study was done for evaluation of metallic implants after surgical internal fixation of fractures of lateral and medial malleoli.

Case Discussion:

CT of a victim of a car accident demonstrating a comminuted fracture of tibia and fibula (distal fibula (Weber C) and medial maleolar tibial fracture). Both fractures required internal fixation. 

Posterior malleolar fracture has not been internal fixed.
