Loss of haustal pattern in the rectum, sigmoid and descending colon giving the "lead pipe sign"
Case Discussion
The patient had long history of ulcerative colitis.
Loss of haustral pattern of the colon indicates chronicity.
Note that active stage of ulcerative colitis is contraindication for CT colonography.
