Case Discussion
It is a good habit to familiarise yourself with congenital abnormalities that mimic fractures. Although memorizing every single one is not ideal, it is ideal to note the information is readily accessible and should be acknowledged. This particular congenital defect is rare and to the untrained eye may mimic the appearance of an unstable fracture.
