Case Discussion:

Axial and saggital images confirm pelvic fractures and extraperitoneal rupture of urinary bladder with large urinoma in space of Retzius. Contrast (urine) is also seen ascending along the left psoas muscle in retroperitoneum and tracking along extraperitoneal fascial planes in the pelvis.

The retropubic extraperitoneal space of Retzius is bounded anteriorly by pubic symphysis, superiorly by suprapubic rami and laterally by pubis bone & obturator internus muscles.
