Case Discussion

The ubiquitous USB flash drive/stick may be an odd thing to find on a radiology website, but those who report a lot of chest radiographs will be familiar with a common mistake made by radiology trainees and others who aren't aware of the Reveal implantable loop recorder device.

Whilst USB sticks come in a variety of shapes and sizes, the constant feature is the USB standard male A-plug which is the part inserted into the USB port on your computer. The size of this component, and the 2 holes easily visible within make it an easy distinction  from the Reveal device or other implants.
