Presentation

Fever and pain and edema at the region of the left inferior third molar tooth.

Age: 25-year-old
Gender: Female

x-ray

There is a subtle lucency involving the root of the left inferior third molar in keeping with the clinical diagnosis of periapical abscess. The reminder teeth are unremarkable. Mandible and maxilla are otherwise unremarkable.
