There is widespread low T1 signal throughout the vertebral bodies with accompanying T2 hyperintensity and several vertebral compression fractures.

Diffuse homogeneous signal abnormalities can easily be missed and assessment of marrow should be a review area.

The diagnosis here is chronic myeloid leukemia but can seen in other cause of bone marrow infiltration.
