4D syndrome is a term used to describe a manifestation of syndromic glucagonomas, a type of pancreatic endocrine tumour.
Location:-it’s mostly located in tail of pancreas.
SIZE:-Tumor is malignant ;5-10cm in size .
Characteristic finding in skin:-NME (necrolytic migratory erythema)

- necrolytic migratory erythema - a widespread rash, tending to involve perioral and perigenital regions
- oral rashes (angular stomatitis, cheilitis)
- tend to resolve upon removal of the tumour
- D: mild diabetes mellitus
- D: deep vein thrombosis
- D: depression - may be related to severe chronic dermatosis 2 Conformation of diagnosis :-serum level of glucagon >1000pg/ml.
- Management:-Surgery is the only option .
