Multistudy cases

Last revised by Henry Knipe on 12 Dec 2018

The structure of multistudy cases is important so that they can be best viewed by others both in "view mode" and in "quiz mode":

  • one case per patient
  • each case can have multiple studies
  • each study should
    • be from one modality and
    • acquired at one time
      • follow-up studies need to be separate studies
      • use the caption box to add in temporal details
  • each study can contain multiple series
  • each series should
    • contain only one sequence (MRI) or contrast phase (CT)
    • contain images in only one projection (i.e. axial images are one stack, coronal images are another stack)
