A left atrial appendage epicardial clip or AtriClip® device is a type of left atrial appendage closure device used for treatment of conditions such as atrial fibrillation. It is applied epicardially, with no foreign body contact to the bloodstream, and applied to the base of the appendage, and the process is not affected by atypical left atrial appendage morphology.
