Babygram is a radiograph that captures a neonate's entire body, including limbs.
Some authors refer to a chest and abdominal radiograph of the baby as a "thoracoabdominal babygram" 4.

Indications
Babygram is done in post-mortem studies of the stillborn fetus or after the termination of pregnancy due to gross congenital anomalies 1.
Babygram is also used to determine the line positions of umbilical venous and umbilical arterial catheters 2.
The study also screens premature infants for lung surfactant deficiency and necrotizing enterocolitis 3.

Procedure
The baby is placed on the image receptor and the collimation is opened up as large as possible to include the whole baby 3.
There is no specific body landmark as centering point except for placing the x-ray beam arbitrarily at the center of the trunk of the baby.
