Bannayan-Zonana syndrome

Bannayan-Zonana syndrome is a rare hamartomatous disorder. 

Inheritance is by autosomal dominant transmission with few reported sporadic cases. Male predominance is also reported.1

Other findings that make it possible to delineate a recognizable syndrome include :

  • down-slanting palpebral fissures
  • high palate
  • joint hyperextensibility
  • pectus excavatum
  • strabismus or amblyopia and 
  • prolonged drooling 2-4
