Bones of the upper limb

Last revised by Tariq Walizai on 21 Jun 2024

The bones in the upper limb are those that can be found within the pectoral girdle (3), arm (1) forearm (2), and hand (27). There are also a number of accessory ossicles, predominantly occurring at the wrist. Bones provide sites of attachment for skeletal muscles as well as a framework to neurovascular and lymphatic elements.
