Bronchial stenosis

A bronchial stenosis is a descriptive term to denote a region of focal narrowing involving the bronchi, it can arise from a wide variety of etiologies.

It may or may not be associated in intrinsic or extrinsic mass lesion.

It can arise from a large range of etiological factors which include

Allows direction visualization of segment of narrowing (MINIP images may be additionally helpful). May also show resorptive (obstructive) atelectasis of segments of lung distal to stenosis.
