A commissure (TA: commissura) is a location at which two anatomical structures are united. Though the term most commonly refers to the commissures in the brain, there are a number which exist in the human body:
- central nervous system
- head and neck
- labial commissure of the mouth
- anterior commissure of the larynx
- posterior commissure of the larynx
- cardiovascular
- where the valvular cusps of the heart attach to each other and the annulus
- genitourinary

Commissure derives from the Latin commissura, meaning a joining together.
