Deep inguinal lymph nodes

Dr Geon Oh et al.

The deep inguinal nodes lie medially to the femoral vein. There are around three in number and receive lymphatic channels that run with the deep femoral vessels and from the glans penis / clitoris from the perineum. There are common channels with the superficial inguinal nodes, and they drain into the external iliac lymph nodes via channels running with the femoral vein.
