Fetal atrial fibrillation

Fetal atrial fibrillation is a type of fetal tachyarrhythmia and usually has an atrial rate of 400 beats per minute and a completely irregular ventricular rhythm. 

Radiographic features

Antenatal ultrasound - echocardiography

The atrial contractions are usually too faint to be detected by M Mode ultrasound. An irregular ventricular rate may be detected.
