Gadoteridol

Gadoteridol (also known as ProHance) is an extracellular intravenous contrast agent used in magnetic resonance imaging.

  • cyclic, non-ionic molecule 

  • 100% renally excreted

  • T1 relaxivity at 1.5 T: 3.9-4.3

  • concentration: 0.5 mmol/mL

  • recommended dosage: 0.1 mmol/kg

Indications

As an extracellular contrast agent, gadoteridol can be useful in a wide range of MRI applications, including (but not limited to): hepatic imaging, pelvic imaging, cardiac imaging, brain and spine imaging, and musculoskeletal imaging.
