The iliopectineal line is a curvilinear line running from the sacroiliac joint along the medial border of the iliac wing and the superior border of the superior pubic bone up to the symphysis and delineates the inner margin of the pelvic ring 1-4.
Interpretation
Disruption of the iliopectinaeal line is a sign of an anterior column fracture 1, superior pubic ramus or an anterior pelvic arch fracture 2.
In severe protrusio acetabuli, the acetabular fossa can sometimes be seen extending medially to the iliopectineal line.
