Radiographic features

Ultrasound

They usually present as a well defined hypoechogenic splenic mass ¹.

CT

Well defined hypodense splenic mass that, on postcontrast images, shows delayed heterogeneous enhancement. A central hypodense scar is recognised as a feature. Calcifications may be present ¹.
