Lateral parietotemporal line

Last revised by Craig Hacking on 29 May 2019

The lateral parietotemporal line is an imaginary boundary between the temporal lobe and occipital lobe and forms the posterior boundary of the former.

It is formed by an near vertical line extending superior from the preoccipital notch on the inferolateral border of the temporal lobe to the superolateral aspect of the parieto-occipital fissure.
