Lipids peak

Lipids are a collection of related compounds examined in MR spectroscopy. They resonates at 1.3 ppm chemical shift, and are markers of severe tissue damage with liberation of membrane lipids, as is seen in cerebral infarction or cerebral abscesses. It is also encountered in cerebral metastases and glioblastoma 1
